Stay with local hosts

A private suite beside real village life.

Yasha House is not a resort block. You arrive through the family garden, with rice fields, local warungs and everyday Balinese life nearby. Murni lives next door, helps with practical questions and can point you toward the quiet paths and places locals actually use.

Yasha House has two garden rooms side by side, each with its own private entrance, bathroom and kitchen. The garden and terrace are shared. This page is Room 2 — identical in size and amenities to Room 1.

Your hosts

Meet Murni — also called Wayan.

In Balinese tradition, Wayan means firstborn — and Murni (called Wayan by family and neighbours) built this place with her own hands, on her family's land, with a local crew. She runs the warung in the village where her nasi campur is the real thing. Born in Payangan, she lives next door to Yasha House.

She wants guests to experience real village Bali, not tourist Ubud. The rice fields, the morning temple offerings, the sound of roosters at dawn. It's a life she's proud to share.

"I built Yasha House so guests can feel what it's like to live in a Balinese village — the rice fields, the roosters, the quiet evenings."
